With this year’s Build It Awards swiftly approaching, premium door and window designer The Residence Collection is excited to announce that it has been selected as a finalist for the Best Glazed Doors award.
The Build It Awards are an annual UK industry event that honours excellence, innovation, and best practices in the custom build, self-build, and home renovation sectors. The awards recognise completed projects, pioneering architects, suppliers, and innovative building products, shining a light on businesses and people in the industry who deserve it. The winners are set to be announced on 27th November at this year’s awards gala at The Hilton Bankside in London.
As highlighted in its nomination, The Residence Collection has been recognised for its new timber alternative entrance door range.
The new door has been designed so that you can now have a complete suite of timber alternative windows and doors in your home. The new door sash is chamfered to perfectly suit our open-out door and window sash. The door features a new deep bottom rail, mid-rail and patented* surround trim. The new door is available with double or triple glazing, and can have a 44mm door panel with an ABS core reinforcement to meet PAS24 standards.
Available in 11 colours, 21 designs, flat or raised and fielded panels and a large range of decorative glass options, there is something for everyone. The Residence Collection has an online door designer with a visualiser so you can design your own front door, and then see how it looks on your home. With doors made to the homeowner’s exact specifications and available in a range of styles and colours, aesthetics don’t have to be compromised for functionality.
Jo Trotman, Sales and Marketing Manager at The Residence Collection, commented: “We are so proud to have been selected as finalists for Best Glazed Doors at this year’s Build It Awards.
