Premium window and door designer, The Residence Collection, has a long standing partnership with window, door and conservatory manufacturer, Window Tech, to deliver high-quality home improvements in Essex and the surrounding area.
For more than 30 years, family-run business Window Tech has been manufacturing industry-leading windows, doors and conservatories for customers. The Residence Collection provides premium window and door systems, which are designed and made in Great Britain, and has been working closely with Window Tech for 13 years to manufacture its window and door collections.
The Residence Collection designs the window profile, which is then sent to Window Tech to manufacture the windows and doors for homeowners. The products are then sent to local installers to fit the products in homes. The Residence Collection’s R9 collection, the original timber alternative window system that’s designed to authentically replicate 19th Century timber designs, was the first window system added to Window Tech’s product offering when it launched to market in 2011.
The unique nature of the product, with it being the only timber alternative product on the market at that time, appealed to Window Tech, who admired the product’s innovation and quality.
Following the great success of this product offering with customers and homeowners, Window Tech’s business grew quickly, and as such, they expanded from their smaller factory showroom in Romford, to a larger, higher capacity factory in Brentwood.
Since 2018, Window Tech manufactures The Residence Collection windows and doors with Timberweld® technology, a unique manufacturing technique of joining corners together. The result is a perfect wooden butt-joint internally and externally that recreates authentic timber window joinery, but with modern style and functionality.
With high demand for this technology, the unique product innovation of Timberweld® has contributed to the success of Window Tech, and enabled the business to grow and continue to offer high quality, innovative products to its customers.
Over the years, Window Tech added RD (Residence Doors), The Residence Collection’s premium door solution, R7, that creates a timber alternative aesthetic and is beautifully flush inside and out, and R2, a modern system with square aesthetics usually found on aluminium windows, to their expansive and premium product offering.
